KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools is seeking a High School Environmental Science Teacher for the 26-27 school year. Teachers will be responsible for creating a positive classroom environment, implementing curriculum, assessing students, collaborating with their team, building relationships with families, and other duties as assigned. KIPP Bold City's vision is to be a high school built on student voice and choice, offering a variety of options including honors classes, Advanced Placement classes for all, and career/technical education. The school seeks teachers aligned with philosophies around student voice and choice, who are flexible to meet student interest areas. Core content areas include science, history, ELA, and math. High school lead teachers will likely have a homeroom class and teach several classes in their subject area, with teaching loads potentially varying. Electives are selected by the school leader based on student interest and teacher certification.
