About The Position

This role involves developing and implementing lesson plans that align with district curriculum requirements and incorporate effective teaching strategies for diverse learners. The teacher will regularly assess student progress, using data to inform and improve instruction. Collaboration with special education teachers and Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) is essential for curriculum modification and project support. Additionally, the teacher is responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe, structured classroom environment, adhering to district policies on student conduct and record-keeping.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill district curriculum requirements and reflect best practices for varying learning styles.
• Assess student progress regularly and use the results to refine instructional strategies and monitor effectiveness.
• Work closely with special education teachers and Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to modify curriculum and support cross-functional projects.
• Create a safe, structured environment and enforce district policies regarding student conduct and file maintenance.
