About The Position

CACI is seeking a High School Business Intern for Summer 2026! You will have the opportunity to support the Program Management team by assisting with various projects, processes, and initiatives. This position is designed to provide practical experience and professional development opportunities for students pursuing a degree in Business, Management, Economics, or a related field. This position will be located in Crane, IN and will be 100% onsite and will require that you live within the local commuting distance.

Requirements

  • Must be a high school student with an interest in pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Management, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

  • Prior internship experience or relevant coursework is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of program management initiatives.
  • Support the development and maintenance of project plans, timelines, and milestones.
  • Help coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support decision-making processes.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate project status and insights.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic planning.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new processes and workflows.
  • Participate in process mapping and documentation efforts.
  • Assist in budget planning, tracking, and reporting.
  • Analyze financial data to support forecasting and resource allocation decisions.
  • Contribute to cost-benefit analyses and ROI calculations for projects.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation and records.
  • Support the creation and update of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and templates.
  • Provide general administrative support as needed.
  • Attend training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance business and management skills.
  • Engage in mentorship programs with senior program managers and business leaders to gain insights into industry practices and career development.
