About The Position
Elite Prep San Ramon is seeking passionate and experienced High School AP Subject Instructors who can inspire students and help them succeed in their AP courses and exams. The ideal instructor has strong subject knowledge, experience teaching high school students, and a proven ability to prepare students for AP-level coursework and exams.
Requirements
- Prior experience teaching or tutoring AP-level courses
- Strong knowledge of the AP curriculum and exam format
- Experience preparing students for AP exams is strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in the relevant subject area preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiastic about working with motivated high school students
- Reliable, professional, and committed to student success
- Must be available for in-person teaching in San Ramon, CA
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree and/or advanced teaching experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Teach and tutor AP-level courses and students
- Develop engaging lesson plans, instructional materials, and challenging problem sets
- Prepare students for AP exams, including content review, practice, and test-taking strategies
- Provide individualized feedback and support based on student needs
- Monitor and track student progress
- Communicate effectively with students and the Elite Prep team
- Maintain a positive, supportive, and academically challenging learning environment
