This role functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s). The supervisor ensures that all post orders are followed, established rounds are completed, and required reports are filed. They also notify proper authorities and the client in emergency situations. The supervisor is responsible for coaching and disciplining personnel as appropriate, seeking advice from company management when needed, and documenting all coaching and disciplinary actions. Additionally, they train Security Officers and other company personnel, review post orders, and assist in submitting payroll and personnel information. The supervisor ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions, prepares and submits various reports, inspects posts, and meets with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and to provide quality customer service. As assigned, they may also perform interviewing, orienting, training, planning, assigning, directing work, coaching, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, resolving problems, and making hiring and termination recommendations. In some instances, the supervisor may perform the duties of a Security Officer.
