Reading, math, and leadership skills necessary
Possess good mechanical skills, troubleshooting skills, and general maintenance knowledge.
Should be able to read and write English and do basic math.
Requires knowledge of machinery, mechanisms, pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, gears, seals, sprockets, belts, and vari-drives.
Employee is responsible for having tools needed and required to perform the above tasks.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of the Hi-Rise area and Powered Industrial Trucks.
Understand the safety risks associated with job.
Comply with all safety rules, procedures, and work practices.
Report all safety incidents.
Has read and understands the Safety, Health and Environmental Policy
Understand the aspects of the job that impact the environment.
Comply with all environmental rules, procedures, and work practices.
Report all environmental incidents.
Follow recipes and deviations at all times. Unauthorized deviations are strictly forbidden.
Comply with all FDA rules, procedures and work practices.
Follow all Nestle and GMP procedures.
Maintain confidential information on recipes.
Report all deviations from the recipe.
Possess good mechanical skills, troubleshooting skills, and general maintenance knowledge.
Should be able to read and write English and do basic math.
Requires knowledge of machinery, mechanisms, pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, gears, seals, sprockets, belts, and vari-drives.
Keep equipment functioning in a safe and efficient manner.
Utilize skill and experience to perform inspections and repairs on equipment safely, accurately, and quickly.
Work from Job Orders and P.M. cards that are assigned with minimal supervision or direction.
Analyze malfunctioning equipment; determine the cause and cure. If possible, correct the problem safely and with minimal downtime and cost.
Work with and communicate with various levels of supervision and personnel in all departments in a positive, professional manner.
Perform maintenance, both mechanical and electrical, on fork trucks and battery chargers.
Other duties as assigned.
