About The Position

The CSU High Fidelity Wraparound (HFW) Coach plans, develops, delivers, and administers workforce development coaching for human service professionals to strengthen skills and knowledge in Wraparound, which is a team-based care coordination process that provides comprehensive, individualized care to children, young adults, and their families with complex behavioral health needs. The coach delivers training and technical assistance to support quality Wraparound implementation, fidelity, and workforce capacity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Development, Education, Public/Business Administration, Communications, or a discipline appropriate to the training being conducted.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of direct Wraparound experience
  • Coaching and workforce development experience in behavioral health field.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and management skills.
  • Excellent training and group facilitation skills.
  • Legally authorized to work within the US.
  • Pre-employment criminal background check (required for new hires).

Nice To Haves

  • Comprehensive assessment training and technical assistance experience in behavioral health field.
  • Maintain awareness of current trends influencing coaching effectiveness.

  • Ability to work cooperatively with others in a professional, ethical, and respectful way.
  • Ability to work effectively with clients to meet a range of customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve certification from the National Wraparound Implementation Center (NWIC) within two years of being hired.
  • Lead specialized Wraparound consultation, training, and coaching efforts.
  • Assess general and specific Wraparound training needs within the focus population using accepted methods appropriate to the training field.
  • Establish relationships/partnerships and collaborate with stakeholders to assess and develop long-term coaching/training needs and Wraparound training plans.
  • Provide specialized CANS assessment consultation, training, and coaching efforts for all CO-SOC workforce trained by the CO-SOC WCC.
  • Create strategies to ensure sustainability and that Wraparound training is effectively translated into practice.
  • Monitor, provide technical assistance, and evaluate the fidelity of Wraparound, and provide coaching feedback to inform needed actions to support implementation integrity.
  • Compile and analyze Wraparound training data and use data to modify and adapt Wraparound training.
  • Utilize data to inform decision-making in the types of technical assistance deemed most helpful.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain effective mechanisms for ongoing relationships/partnerships with sites.
  • Communicate regularly, in person or virtually, with the project co-directors, including reporting on all Wraparound training efforts and progress.
