About The Position

We are seeking an experienced, polished, and highly professional High-End Retail Security Officer to join our team at the renowned Woodbury Common Premium Outlets. This role requires exceptional customer service, strong situational awareness, and the ability to present a confident and welcoming presence within a luxury retail environment.

Requirements

10+ years of security experience, preferably in high-end or luxury retail environments
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to stand 10+ hours per shift
Active NYS Guard Card (required)
Reliable transportation
Must be 21 years of age or older (per legal or contractual requirements)
High school diploma or GED
Authorized to work in the United States
Minimum 1 year of security experience preferred
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations
Satisfactory attendance and punctuality
Neat, professional appearance and demeanor
Strong ability to deliver quality customer service
Ability to handle typical and crisis situations effectively and professionally

Nice To Haves

Previous bouncer experience a plus
CPR/First Aid certification a plus
Military experience a plus

Responsibilities

Monitor and detect suspicious activity, criminal acts, or policy infractions at or near assigned posts
Serve as a visible security presence and deterrent to crime and rule violations
Respond appropriately to emergencies, including medical emergencies, fire alarms, intrusion alarms, and potential threats
Report and document all incidents, accidents, and medical emergencies accurately and promptly
Maintain a professional, polished appearance in the assigned uniform
Arrive on time and complete all shift assignments, including overtime if required
Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
Execute all post orders and enforce client and company policies, rules, and regulations
Provide outstanding customer service to guests, clients, and retail staff
Handle crisis situations calmly, confidently, and efficiently
