About The Position

The Hifz Quran Teacher at Al-Rahmah Quran Academy (AQA) is responsible for guiding the community's growth in light of the Quran and Sunnah, and contributing to the development of AQA. This role involves teaching a structured full-time Hifz program for students pursuing degrees, certifications, or Ijazas in Quranic study, memorization, and Tajweed. The teacher will also serve the community and general public as requested by the Quranic Affairs Board (QAB). The position requires an enthusiastic, imaginative, and energetic individual capable of maximizing each child's potential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in teaching a structured full-time Hifz program for attaining Degrees/ Certifications/ Ijazas in the fields of Quranic study, memorization and Tajweed.
• Teach according to the Quran and Sunnah and utilize wisdom (hikmah) and effective problem solving skills in dealing with a multi-ethnic community.
• Teach students of the sisters Nazera Program proper Adab (manners) and to adapt to the life style of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) i.e. etiquettes of normal daily life of a good practicing Muslim.
• Work collectively with Resident Scholars to ensure continued progress of AQA and assist in the building of the community at large.
• Perform related work as required by the AQA.
• Abide by the ISB Constitution, its Bylaws as well as the Bylaws of the QAB.
