Requirements

Motivated and dependable individual willing to learn and grow with the position and the company
Clerical experience needed
Must be proficient in Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft programs
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Able to work flexible hours, if needed
Willingness to cross train in other accounting areas
Must be able to do weekly filing
Active and willing to work in a fast peace environment
Strategic planning and scheduling skills
Time-management skills
Qualified candidates for this position will be required to successfully complete the background check.
Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

Nice To Haves

Billing and scheduling experience is preferred
Bilingual is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Work with and track daily hide inventory to be able to schedule hide loads
Enter new contracts, orders, process bill for current day or next day's orders
Keep up with hide allocation
Daily invoicing and daily reports
Schedule hide loads based upon inventory, handle bookings, and direct loads, as well as documentation for direct loads
Keep track of hide freight and weekly filing
Receive and prepare claims from customers to present to salespeople and plant management
Keep good communication with customers and customers agents. Responding to any questions
Monitor wire references and bookkeeping customer’s shipments
Cross-train as needed within the accounting department
Other duties as assigned.
