About The Position

ESP Associates, Inc. is seeking a HiCAMS / Office Technician in Charlotte, NC. This position will ensure all HiCAMS related functions are compliant with contract agreements, standards and specifications. The role involves performing entry of all required HiCAMS and SAP for project records, materials, and estimates, as well as tracking DBE participation and technician certifications. The technician will be responsible for HiCAMS functions including processing monthly and final estimates, checking calculations, resolving pay record and material quantity discrepancies, researching project documents, and processing material prepayments. Additionally, the role requires processing and entering all project data into the HiCAMS system on a routine basis, which includes project pay records, Supplemental Agreements, and Materials Received Reports (MMRs). Further duties include creating requisitions for managing inventory, administering payroll/time entry in the SAP system, processing reports in SAP, reviewing project budgets in SAP, and reviewing contractor’s certified payrolls for FHWA compliance and scheduling.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in an applicable area of Engineering Technology, Survey Technology or a related curriculum from an appropriately accredited institution and two (2) years of progressive technician level experience
  • Must have experience utilizing HiCAMS to enter and keep track of project data
  • Must have experience in Contract Administration including an understanding of Contracts, Plans, Standards, and Specifications
  • Working knowledge of computer equipment (iPads, desktop), software (HiCAMS and SharePoint), computer platforms (Microsoft Office Suite), and mathematical functions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage and maintain multiple projects and deadlines
  • Candidate must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company’s driving (MVR) policy

Responsibilities
