About The Position

Lead the on-site team and run day-to-day operations on a hi-tech facility, keeping work safe, on schedule, and on budget while holding the team accountable. The role is based at a semiconductor project site in North Phoenix, Arizona, and works with Project Managers and the general contractor to plan and manage field execution. The position is full-time and on site, with a 60/60/50 rotation and early morning and evening communication as needed. The superintendent will complete the NCCER Superintendent Certification Program.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience as a Superintendent or at least 5 years as a General Foreman.
Extensive field experience as an ironworker and foreman.
Experience managing on-site crews of 50 or more.
Ability to run an equipment plan for 20 or more pieces of equipment.
Ability to work a 60/60/50 schedule.
Job costing and production forecasting knowledge.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work on elevated structures.
Must complete the NCCER Superintendent Certification Program.
Safety-sensitive position under Arizona law.

Responsibilities

Work with Project Managers and the general contractor to build an effective erection plan.
Set manpower, including crew size and skill mix, to maintain the schedule.
Recruit, interview, discipline, and promote crew members.
Coach foremen and crews on hazards and controls, and champion job site safety.
Develop and run the on-site equipment management plan for 20 or more pieces of equipment.
Attend customer meetings and report status and progress across multiple scopes.
Provide Project Managers with job costing information and strategies to meet the budget.
