About The Position

Yamhill County has one regular full-time position for an HHS Manager in our Family & Youth Division. We are seeking an innovative and dynamic manager to lead a fast-paced integrated mental health and addictions program for children and adolescents. Critical elements are program development, planning and monitoring outcomes, and recruiting, training, and supervising staff. The annual budget for the division is $9.9 million with another $750,000 in provider contracts and approximately 42 full-time equivalent staff.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or advanced training
  • Five or more years of relevant experience with progressive responsibilities in program administration or supervision
  • Graduate-level coursework and training may be substituted for up to two years’ experience
  • Demonstrated leadership in community-based services
  • Thorough knowledge of rules, laws, and policies governing department operation
  • Must not be excluded from participation in federal health care programs (Medicaid, Medicare, and other federally funded programs that provide health benefits)
  • Must not be excluded from participation in federal procurement (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and non-procurement activities (Executive Order No. 12549)
