About The Position

Attentive Home Care, Inc. is hiring a Home Health Aide to provide one-on-one care to elderly or disabled clients in Buzzards Bay / Upper Cape Cod. The role includes helping clients with personal hygiene and basic needs, medication reminders, errands, and light homemaking. The position requires compassionate, supportive care, attention to health and safety standards, and the ability to observe and report changes in clients’ conditions. Requirements

Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and be eager to improve and learn new skills.
Be able to safely assist with transfers and physically perform job-related duties.
Have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
Demonstrate the ability to act compassionately and supportively.
Be available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
Have at least one year of prior experience in healthcare, hospitality, or an in-home care environment.
Be willing to enforce health and safety standards.
Have a current CNA license and/or HHA certificate.
Take pride in providing high-quality care.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal hygiene and basic needs, including showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
Assist clients with ambulation and transfers.
Provide medication reminders.
Complete clients’ shopping and errands.
Perform light homemaking duties.
Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
Observe and report changes in clients’ conditions.
