About The Position

Griswold Care Pairing is seeking in-home caregivers for hourly shifts in the Port Charlotte, Florida area. Caregivers support seniors and help clients maintain their quality of life at home through companionship, home services, personal care, and respite care. The specific available shift listed is in Port Charlotte on Tuesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Caregivers may register for opportunities and select home care cases and schedules that suit their availability and skill set. The role includes providing companionship, light housekeeping, personal care, transportation, and safety supervision. Candidates must have relevant caregiving experience and the listed certifications and continuing education. Background screening requirements apply.

Requirements

• Experience caring for a client or family member.
• Experience providing personal care, homemaking, and companion services.
• HHA certification or CNA certification.
• CPR certification.
• Continuing education units (CEUs) in self-administered medications, HIV/AIDS, and Alzheimer’s and dementia.
