About The Position
CareCo Medical Home Health is seeking a dedicated individual with a heart for compassion and kindness to join their team as a Home Health Aide. The role involves working independently to provide 1-to-1 in-home patient care. Requirements
- Current certification as a CNA in Connecticut REQUIRED
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation and willing to travel in New London County
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Home health experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform home visits for patients in a home care setting as delegated by the care-managing RN
- Observes, records, and coordinates care with multi-disciplines regarding the patient's treatment and any change in condition
- Provides compassionate, patient-centered personal care including bathing/showering, washing hair, nails, continence care, etc.
- May also perform light housekeeping duties just as fixing a light meal, changing linen/making bed, empty trash, etc.
