About The Position
Summit Home Care is seeking a flexible Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide personalized weekend care. This part-time or per diem role offers flexible scheduling, allowing you to choose shifts that fit your life. You will earn competitive hourly wages, with premium rates for bathing and shower visits. This is a purpose-driven role where you will help clients feel safe, clean, and cared for in their homes, offering companionship and emotional support. Summit Home Care emphasizes work-life balance and provides ongoing training, a supportive team, and a dedicated care coordinator.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience or active CNA license.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current insurance.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Passion for working independently and building trust with clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with ADLs like dressing, grooming, meal prep, and ambulation.
- Perform personal care visits (including bathing and hygiene) as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to improve client well-being.
- Communicate clearly with supervisors about any changes or concerns.
- Travel to client homes within a 35-mile radius is required!
