About The Position
Senior Helpers of Sunrise is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a 4-hour shift providing hands-on, compassionate care to a valued client in Sunrise. Requirements
- Active HHA or CNA certification (must be verifiable)
- Experience using a Hoyer lift (hands-on experience required)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly
- Must pass a Level 2 background check and drug test
- Professional, dependable, and able to follow care plans accurately
- Must be 18 years or older
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Hoyer lift to transfer client out of bed in preparation for bathing and hair washing
- Provide personal care, including bathing assistance, lotion application, and gentle massaging
- Assist client with dressing and grooming
- Meal preparation (simple, light meals)
- Light housekeeping, including vacuuming, dusting, and laundry
- Maintain dignity, respect, and clear communication at all times
- Document care provided and report any changes in condition promptly
