HHA/ CNA Males Needed Immediately - Venice/ Port Charlotte
About The Position
Rise Up Homecare is growing and is looking for dependable, compassionate CNAs and HHAs who are comfortable providing care for clients with more complex needs. The company does not turn clients away due to challenging care needs and believes every client deserves compassionate, respectful, dependable care. The ideal candidates will share this commitment. Cases may include clients who require additional assistance, supervision, personal care, mobility assistance, bathing, hoyer assistance, gait belt transfers, weight bearing, and other services outlined in their care plan. The company believes complex care should never mean a client is left without dependable support.
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Florida Home Health Aide (HHA)
- Experience with complex or higher-care-needs clients
- Dependable and consistent with attendance
- Comfortable assisting with personal care and activities of daily living
- Willing to follow the client’s individualized care plan
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful
- Good communication skills with clients, families, and the office
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- Level II Background cleared from AHCA and CPR prior to joining or willingness to obtain
Nice To Haves
- Experience with clients requiring hoyer assistance
- Experience with gait belt transfers
- Experience with weight bearing assistance
