CNA/HHA needed for difficult cases- Venice/Punta Gorda
About The Position
Rise Up Homecare is seeking dependable, compassionate CNAs and HHAs for clients with complex care needs in Venice and Port Charlotte, FL. The company believes every client deserves compassionate, respectful, and dependable care, and does not turn clients away due to challenging care needs. Caregivers should be comfortable assisting with personal care, activities of daily living, and following individualized care plans. They should be able to work independently, take initiative, and communicate effectively with clients, families, and the office. The role involves working as part of a team to provide care for clients who may require additional assistance, supervision, personal care, mobility assistance, and may have pets or live in a home with smokers.
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Florida Home Health Aide (HHA)
- Experience with complex or higher-care-needs clients
- Dependable and consistent with attendance
- Comfortable assisting with personal care and activities of daily living
- Willing to follow the client’s individualized care plan
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful
- Good communication skills with clients, families, and the office
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- Must have Level II AHCA Background and CPR or willing to obtain prior to interview
