About The Position
The Role: Help seniors with everyday tasks & personal care. Calm, respectful, real impact. Provide care for the elderly and/or disabled adults with developmental disabilities in the privacy of their own homes.
Requirements
- CPR (current & valid)
- Valid driver’s license
- Auto insurance
- Social Security card
- Level 2 background check ($90 if needed)
- Alzheimer's / Dementia Certification
- HIV / Aids Certification
Responsibilities
- Personal Care Assistance (must be ok with: bathing, toileting, dressing and personal hygiene)
- Monitor clients safety within the home/Supervision
- Light Housekeeping (sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, laundry, etc.)
- Ambulation and Transferring Assistance
- Transportation - Assist with scheduling a transport to doctor appointments/run errands
- Grocery Shopping / Assisting with online shopping
- Meal Preparation
- Companionship
- Assist with the clients personal goals!
- Provide friendly medication reminders!
