About The Position

HFA Service Specialists II provides client relationship building partnerships with Advisor(s) and is responsible for the day-to-day activities and interaction between the client and Huntington, in terms of the establishment, documentation and maintenance of the relationship, including the Digital Experience. They service customers by providing detailed information on specific accounts and building rapport. This role is responsible for identifying, researching, analyzing and resolving complex problems with accounts. The specialist works directly with the client and/or relationship manager to obtain financial information or other documentation needed for new accounts, loans and servicing requests. They build an effective rapport with clients and Huntington personnel, including branch colleagues. The role involves researching and resolving complex problems regarding service activities and operational issues, and assisting Advisors by processing and maintaining documentation, resolving discrepancies, and preparing for meetings and presentations. Additionally, the specialist prepares various internal reports, memos, and correspondence, and maintains up-to-date knowledge of products, services, departmental systems and related technology, Digital Experience, policies and procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or at least 5 years of experience within Investments/Financial Services
  • Minimum of 9 months of customer service experience within Investments/Financial Services
  • Series 6, Series 63, and Life and Health license

  • Familiarity with investment acumen, including investment products, Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)

Responsibilities
