About The Position

DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking highly motivated Herbicide Applicator Technicians responsible for spraying right aways, roadsides, removing weeds, trimming, and cutting grass and brush. This is accomplished with a spray truck, an ATV, a backpack sprayer, or by dragging a hose. The role also involves completing all DOT required truck inspections, identifying and troubleshooting truck/spray system issues or needed repairs, and keeping the truck and equipment clean and organized. Individuals will receive training in calibrating spray equipment, understanding weed, grass, and brush types, and the general knowledge of methods and chemicals used, including safety requirements.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent
21+ years of age or older
A valid driver's license
5 years clean (MVR) motor vehicle record
Successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check
Must be able to travel away from home for up to 4-6 weeks at a time

Nice To Haves

Herbicide application experience
Commercial Pesticide Applicators preferred: Category C6
Agricultural, landscaping, or related industry experience
