About The Position

DocStar Medical Partners is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in Hematology/Oncology for an outpatient clinic setting in New York. This role involves providing care in a growing program, with some occasional inpatient consults. The PA will manage a patient volume of 18-20 patients per day and perform procedures such as chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormone therapy. The position is primarily Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm, with a preference for a full-time provider, though flexibility is possible for schedules close to full-time. The assignment is for 6 months, with a 60-day credentialing timeframe.

Requirements

• Valid NY State License
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• ATLS certification
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in the specialty
• Experience with chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormone therapy
• Proficiency in EPIC EMR
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a growing program

Nice To Haves

• Full-time availability is highly preferred, but flexibility for near full-time schedules will be considered.
