About The Position

Assist with prepping patients for procedures, applying ECG patches, obtaining vital signs, shaving patients’ groins or other areas as necessary; assist with room turnover, sterile table set up, femoral arterial and venous line pulls, radial band removal, bed pans, feeding, and walking post procedure, assist with patient discharge. Assists in the transfer of patients from stretcher and wheelchair to procedure table while maintaining the safety and patency of patient IV’s, catheters, and tubes.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to interact well with patients and take vital signs
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Required Upon Hire Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Required

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience
• Certification (CNA)
• Enrollment in a nursing school
• Prior Nursing Assistant experience
