Hemodialysis Technician - Systemwide - Varied Shifts
About The Position
Under the direction of the registered nurse, the Certified Hemodialysis Technician provides specialized care to hospitalized patients with acute and chronic kidney disease who require dialysis therapy. This role supports the delivery of safe, evidence-based dialysis treatments, reinforces patient and family education related to disease management, assists in precepting other technicians, and performs additional duties as assigned. The technician practices in accordance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and the standards defined by the Respective State Certification Governance. This position requires scheduling flexibility and the ability to travel to all assigned sites as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Min 1 year of clinical experience in the hemodialysis setting
- Successful completion of all State of California certification (CHT) requirements
- American Heart Association BLS certification
