If it’s not broken, don’t fix it, improve it. Currently, we are seeking a Hemming Project Manager to become a part of the HIROTEC team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing hemming project proposals to determine timelines, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing hemming operations, and allocation of available resources across all phases of the hemming project. The individual will serve as the primary customer contact and provide technical expertise for overall hemming project management, including but not limited to hemming tool/process development, design and hemming feasibility buy‑off, and integration of hemming equipment and systems into the production line. Throughout the life of the hemming project, the candidate will confer with project and manufacturing personnel to define the work plan and assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority related to hemming activities. The candidate will review status reports prepared by project personnel and adjust schedules, tooling plans, or process parameters as required to support hemming quality and timing targets. Prepare detailed hemming project reports for management, customers, and other stakeholders. In addition, the candidate will continuously strive to improve Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Safety (QDCS) within all hemming operations.

Requirements

  • 5 years related experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal/ communication skills
  • Must possess strong organizational skills, teamwork and leadership skills
  • Ability to travel for service and installation, both nationally and internationally.
