About The Position
Seeking a Hematology & Oncology Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Burlington, NC. This inpatient role involves providing comprehensive care to adult patients with a focus on benign hematology and general hematology/oncology. The physician will manage a patient volume of 15-25 per day, including following up with existing patients and seeing new ones, writing orders and prescriptions, and coordinating care with the pharmacy.
Requirements
- Active NC license; IMLC considered
- BC in Hematology/Oncology
- DEA Required
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive hematology/oncology care to adult patients in an inpatient setting.
- Follow up and see new patients, write orders and prescriptions.
- Communicate with pharmacy and coordinate care.
- Focus on benign hematology and general hematology/oncology.
- Manage patient volume of 15-25 per day.
