About The Position
St. Francis Hospital is seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician for a temporary assignment of up to 4 months. The role is based in hospital-outpatient clinics, focusing solely on outpatient care with no inpatient responsibilities or call duties. The physician will manage approximately 15-18 patients per day, with a case mix of 60% Oncology and 40% Hematology. The position utilizes the EPIC EMR system and is supported by a care manager RN, MA, and infusion nurses. This coverage is needed due to an MD departure.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology.
- Active medical license.
- Ability to work M-F 8a-5p.
- Experience with EPIC EMR system.
- Proficiency in treating both Oncology and Hematology cases.

- Previous locum tenens experience.
- Experience in a hospital-based outpatient clinic setting.
