About The Position

We invite Hematology/Oncology APPs to discover all that we can do when we bring healing hearts, inquisitive minds and progressive visionaries together at our Ambulatory Hematology/Oncology Clinic team at Levine Cancer in Huntersville, NC. This is an outpatient, infusion center position. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with day shifts consisting of four 10-hour days, from 8 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. There are no nights, weekends, or call requirements. The APP may perform bone marrow biopsies in an outpatient setting.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited NP program.
• Current license to practice as a NP in North Carolina.
• Current prescriptive privileges and DEA license required.
• BLS for healthcare provider from AHA required.
• Nurse practitioners are required to have a master’s degree or doctorate in nursing practice.
• Demonstrates appropriate critical thinking and interpersonal skills when working in a fast paced, high acuity work environment.
• Able to perform thorough history and physical assessment.
• Able to work with multidisciplinary team.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of experience preferred as an APP.
• Hematology/Oncology experience preferred but not required.
