About The Position

The START Center for Cancer Care is a thriving, physician-led private oncology practice with over 40 years of experience serving San Antonio and surrounding areas. The group is seeking a Hematologist Oncologist to support continued growth at its Medical Center and Stone Oak locations. These are generalist positions with potential for subspecialty. The practice offers access to clinical trials, full ancillary support, competitive compensation, and a clear partnership track. The practice is seeking a compassionate, patient-centered physician with an entrepreneurial spirit who is excited about private practice. They provide world-class care with multiple convenient locations in San Antonio for cancer treatment, and Early Phase Research Sites in South Texas. The practice is comprised of a large team of caring, dedicated doctors, combining excellent people, state-of-the-art capabilities, and the most advanced treatments available. They bring together multiple cancer-care specialties and modalities: surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, immunotherapy, integrative therapies, and genetic testing of tumors for thorough efficient care. Requirements

  • BE/BC
  • MD/DO
  • Three years of post-fellowship experience (2026 fellows are encouraged to apply)
  • Compassionate, patient-centered physician with an entrepreneurial spirit
