About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist to join their team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx. Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center, and North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) has 213 licensed beds. Both facilities are respected leaders in various medical fields and maintain a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein College of Medicine. The mission of NYC Health + Hospitals is to provide comprehensive, high-quality health services to all New Yorkers with compassion, dignity, and respect, regardless of their ability to pay. This role offers opportunities to develop one's own clinic, precept a Fellow's clinic, explore leadership positions, and collaborate on clinical research and Quality Improvement (QI) projects. An academic appointment at Albert Einstein College of Medicine is included. The call schedule is 1 in 6 weeks, with fellows being the first call, and the physician being on call from home.

Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted New York State medical license
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Hematology/Oncology
