About The Position

Join a dynamic, community-focused oncology practice in the heart of Chicago as a BC/BE Hematologist/Oncologist. St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital, a 361-bed cornerstone of care in the Ukrainian Village neighborhood, delivers compassionate, high-quality services—including robust cancer treatment programs—to a diverse urban population. This is an employed position with Prime Illinois Medical Group, offering a full-time clinical role with a strong referral base. The practice involves a mix of solid tumors and hematologic malignancies, with opportunities for benign hematology consults. The clinic is modern and supported by an infusion center. Physicians will have access to a multidisciplinary team including radiology, pathology, surgery, radiation oncology, and palliative care. Requirements

Board-certified/eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology (dual-boarded preferred)
Fellowship-trained from an accredited program
Eligible for Illinois medical license
Strong clinical skills
Patient-centered approach
Team player

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for patients with solid tumors and hematologic malignancies (leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, etc.)
Manage benign hematology consults and non-malignant blood disorders as needed
Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans, including systemic therapies (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted agents)
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team (radiology, pathology, surgery, radiation oncology, palliative care) for optimal patient outcomes
Participate in tumor board discussions and quality initiatives
Deliver patient-centered care with strong emphasis on communication, shared decision-making, and supportive services
