About The Position

This position involves a variety of activities within an outlet store, dock, and salvage areas, including cleaning, stocking, cashiering, processing, loading, and customer service. The role requires adherence to safety procedures and may involve operating a forklift for individuals with the appropriate permit and training.

Requirements

• Less than high school education, or up to one month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
• Forklift permit and following OSHA procedures

Responsibilities

• Cleaning duties (including but not limited to) bathrooms, floors, shelves, and windows.
• Stocking responsibilities as determined by the store manager.
• Cashier duties
• Processing: sorting, separating, baling, dumping trash.
• Loading: loading and unloading trucks.
• Helpers with a forklift permit and following OSHA procedures can drive a forklift.
• Customer service activities (including but not limited to customer assistance, pricing assistance, explaining store operations, and other techniques that may enhance the store’s sales and community image.
• Other responsibilities as determined by the store manager.
