About The Position

Requirements

Relevant experience can include academic qualifications, military service, or other industry-related roles.
1+ years of experience using basic math (e.g. addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
1+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design)
Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8-hour shift
Basic computer experience and competency
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.62 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

Perform various duties to assist other employees or work independently as assigned.
Use production illustrations, specifications, and blueprints to derive measurements and related information for part marking.
Transfer layout locations of temporary protective materials, such as masking tape, to prepare parts for anodizing, etching, and paint applications.
Utilize various computing software necessary to complete work assignments effectively.
Employ precision measuring instruments, such as calipers, to ensure accuracy in measurements.
Obtain and maintain required certifications and qualifications to perform assigned tasks.
Apply shop arithmetic, including decimals and fractions, to perform calculations related to work assignments.
Prepare surfaces to ensure proper adhesion for subsequent processes.
Follow quality requirements and specifications throughout all tasks to maintain high standards.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project timelines.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers regarding project status and any issues that arise.
Document work processes and results as required for quality assurance and compliance.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any discrepancies in measurements or layouts.
Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge related to the role.
