About The Position
Finning is growing and seeking a Journeyperson Helper / Labourer to join their team at Artemis Blackwater Mine on a 14 x 14 Continuous Shift rotation. This role is ideal for individuals with strong mechanical skills who embrace challenges and thrive in an environment that values hard work and integrity, offering opportunities for growth and development.
Requirements
- Class 5 Drivers License with no restrictions, successful drivers abstract required
- Safety conscious self-starter able to follow directions, work under the direction of a J/Field Serviceperson and possess the motivation necessary to contribute positively to a safe team environment
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a pre-apprenticeship program is an asset
- Experience working within a heavy equipment maintenance environment, basic equipment knowledge, along with preventative maintenance experience would be considered assets
Responsibilities
- Assisting field and shop mechanics as required
- General clean up of shop, yard and machines
- Aid Mechanics with the removal and installation of guards and steaming
- General clean up of shop, yard, field sites, parts and machines
- Other General Duties as required
