About The Position
We are looking for a dependable helper/driver to provide transportation support for a client attending regular physical therapy sessions. This is a consistent, short-term assignment (3 months) ideal for someone with reliable availability. The role involves providing safe and reliable transportation to and from physical therapy appointments, ensuring on-time arrival and pick-up, and offering basic assistance and supervision as needed. There is an option to remain onsite during the session for continuity. The client attends appointments at OrthoCarolina University Physical Therapy twice a week (Tuesday & Thursday) from June through August. Each session is approximately 1 hour. The first appointment is June 5th at 9:00 AM, though appointment times may vary.
Requirements
- Must have a reliable vehicle
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Punctual, dependable, and professional
- Good communication skills
- Understands fall prevention
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, reliable transportation to and from PT appointments
- Ensure on-time arrival and pick-up
- Offer basic assistance and supervision as needed
- Option to remain onsite during session for continuity
- Provide reliable walking support
- Ensure the client remains safe, comfortable, and independent
