About The Position
We are looking for a dependable helper/driver to provide transportation support for a client attending regular physical therapy sessions. This is a consistent, short-term assignment (3 months) ideal for someone with reliable availability. The role involves providing safe and reliable transportation to and from physical therapy appointments, ensuring on-time arrival and pick-up. The helper may also offer basic assistance and supervision as needed, with the option to remain onsite during the session for continuity. The client attends appointments at OrthoCarolina University Physical Therapy, 2x per week (Tuesday & Thursday), from June through August. Each session is approximately 1 hour, and appointment times may vary. The ideal candidate will have a reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and possess punctuality, dependability, and good communication skills. This role requires an understanding of fall prevention and the ability to provide reliable walking support while ensuring the client's safety, comfort, and independence.
