About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate and patient helper to support a 35-year-old female client currently on a voluntary mental health hold. The role focuses on providing emotional support, structure, and assistance with daily activities in a safe and respectful manner. This role is best suited for a helper who is empathetic, non-judgmental, and emotionally supportive, with the ability to create a calm and structured environment for the client.
Requirements
- Must have a reliable vehicle
- Patient, calm, and understanding demeanor
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with mental health support preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with ADLs (daily living activities)
- Offer medication reminders/support
- Provide transportation to doctor’s appointments, therapy, and errands
- Assist with shopping and light tasks as needed
