About The Position
We are seeking multiple compassionate and reliable helpers to provide 24/7 care for a female client who is wheelchair-bound and unable to walk. She is currently in a facility and will transition home once consistent in-home care is arranged. She requires hands-on assistance with daily activities and transfers due to fall risk. This role is best suited for experienced helpers who are confident with full ADL support and transfers, and can provide consistent, around-the-clock care in a team-based setup. Requirements
- Experience with transfers and wheelchair-bound clients
- Physically capable and safety-focused
- Reliable and committed to scheduled shifts
- Comfortable in a home with large dogs
- Patient, compassionate, and attentive
- Confident with full ADL support and transfers
Responsibilities
- Assist with transfers (wheelchair ↔ bed, bathroom, etc.)
- Provide ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting)
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed
- Perform light housekeeping
- Provide companionship and supervision
- Ensure overall safety and comfort
