About The Position
The Helper Coordinator supervises, trains, develops, and holds workgroups responsible for safety, production, and attendance. The role maintains high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety. It provides effective leadership and builds working relationships with personnel at all levels throughout the organization.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
- Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, a lawful permanent resident, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree or international equivalent.
- Management experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
- Facilitate training for new and current employees.
- Ensure employees comply with safety policies and procedures and applicable department, station, corporate, and local government requirements.
- Manage department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing employee involvement, proactive communication, interdepartmental cooperation, and continual improvement.
- Implement employee personal development plans as required to support professional growth.
- Ensure department employees receive orientation, skills and safety training, appropriate materials and information, regular evaluations, and proactive coaching.
