THE ARC GREATER TWIN CITIESSaint Paul, MN
$0 - $51,000Hybrid

About The Position

The Arc Minnesota promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We work alongside people with disabilities, families, and community partners to advance equity, belonging, self-advocacy, and full inclusion in community life. We are a mission-based organization with the important purpose of promoting and protecting the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities! People with disabilities and their trusted supporters come to The Arc Minnesota for information, assistance, education, and public policy leadership. Across our teams, we encourage connection, we provide opportunity for work-life balance, and we honor each person’s wholeness. We do this with the philosophy that people do their best work when they can be their authentic self, inside and outside of their workplace! The Arc Minnesota is hiring a Helpdesk Coordinator to help people find their next step. This is a full-time, exempt, hybrid position based in Minnesota. As a Helpdesk Coordinator, you will often be the first person someone turns to when they don’t know where else to go. You will help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), their families, and supporters navigate complex systems, understand their options, and connect with resources that promote self-determination and meaningful community inclusion. No two days look exactly the same. You may begin the morning covering the Helpdesk, answering calls, emails, or online requests from people looking for guidance on disability services, housing, education, employment, public benefits, or community resources. Throughout the day, you will listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, provide coaching and referrals, document interactions, collaborate with colleagues, create plain-language resources, help deliver trainings, attend community events, and identify opportunities to improve services based on community feedback.
