About The Position

Run Networks provides managed network support services in the Omaha and Lincoln area. Our goal is to manage networks efficiently and effectively through preventative maintenance while providing consistent help desk services to our clients. This candidate will be involved in support and daily maintenance of managed machines dedicated to an Omaha-based organization. This candidate will work at the client site daily, while reporting to Run Networks and maintaining constant communication with Run Networks. The culture at Run Networks is fast-paced, professional, and team-oriented. We have fun, while taking our responsibility for client security seriously. As a managed support team member, it is crucial that this candidate be driven to succeed in everything they do. It is important to complete tasks, and to determine next steps as needed. If you enjoy solving problems and finding ways to be more efficient, you may be a good fit. Candidate should be prepared to discuss their knowledge of scripting, programming, and automation using IoT, no-code or low-code platforms, and AI. Requirements

  • Must be motivated, and willing to continue learning path as needed
  • Proficiency with Windows desktop operating systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Troubleshooting skills with network and applications
  • Daily commute to the Client office, sites, and Run Networks office
  • Must have verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English
  • Must possess dependable transportation and a valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
  • Must have a good phone presence, and a good first impression
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP topologies, IP addresses and troubleshooting methods

Responsibilities

  • Perform regular maintenance tasks, monitoring of servers and other devices.
  • Provide end user support split across phone and on-site.
  • Cover an array of software applications as needed.
  • Use and contribute to a library of automation scripts and procedures.
  • Assist and coordinate with users of all knowledge levels.
