About The Position

The Help Desk Technician will assist with the installation, support and maintenance of servers or other company systems.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or the equivalent required
  • Minimum of three (3) years of proven experience as a help desk technician or IT customer support role is required
  • Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases and remote control
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
  • Proficiency in English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer-oriented and cool-tempered

Nice To Haves

  • Associates Degree in directly related discipline or current CompTIA Certificates (A+, Network+ and/or Security+) may be considered in lieu of one (1) year of the required experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-user support, resolving technical issues and provides technical assistance for all Operating systems
  • Provide remote support through phone or end-user via phone
  • Set up new hires with equipment and appropriate access to the companys system
  • Troubleshoot issues with equipment like printers, computers and servers
  • Assist with the maintenance of the business software applications
  • Assist with the implementations, installations, configurations, monitoring, trouble shooting and evaluation of existing and new operating system
  • May confer with database programmers, analysts or other system administrators
