The Marlene Meyerson Jewish Community Center in Manhattan is looking for a Help Desk Support Specialist to join the team! The Help Desk Support Specialist provides technical support and maintains the organization's desktop and laptop computing environment for 500 end users. This role also assists the Network Systems Administrator in managing the local area network, servers, internet connectivity, and voice and data systems. Responsibilities include responding to users' technical requests, installing and maintaining hardware and software, and troubleshooting issues in person, by telephone, email, or remote access. Accurate documentation within the ticketing system and a strong commitment to professional customer service are essential components of this role. Please note: This is a temporary position that will last approximately three (3) months from date of hire with the possibility to go permanent.
