The position also involves overseeing the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of end-user workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices, ensuring network connectivity, and administering all equipment, hardware, and software upgrades. Key responsibilities include managing security solutions like firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems, as well as managing servers (e-mail, print, backup) and their associated operating systems and software. The role also involves conducting research on network products, practicing network asset management, performing server and security audits, system backups and recovery, and administering end-user accounts, permissions, and access rights. Compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, Patriot Act, and Office of Foreign Assets Control, is also required.
