About The Position

Typical duties of the Help Desk Specialist position include: Taking initial telephone, e-mail or walk-in inquiries and troubleshooting and managing relatively simple hardware, software or network problems that can be resolved in 10 minutes or less, recognizing and escalating more difficult problems to Tier 2 support, and logging call activity. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standard Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on specialty if applicable. Non-Exempt positions may have shift differential and/or Overtime paid, if applicable. Pay range: Hourly Rate $20.84 - $30.68 Hours: Availability needed on 1st, 2nd & 3rd shifts including weekends. Hours may vary. 16 hours per week, 32 hours per pay period.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree in related field or completion of coursework at a technical school preferred
  • Previous related experience with some data processing experience preferred
