Requirements

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Basic understanding of computer systems, networking, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple requests at once
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
  • Ability to explain technical information in simple, easy-to-understand terms
  • Reliable attendance and strong problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Previous help desk, technical support, customer service, or IT experience is a plus
  • Certifications such as A+, Google IT Support, or similar are helpful but not required

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support by phone, email, chat, and ticketing systems
  • Troubleshoot common hardware, software, password, printer, and connectivity issues
  • Assist users with Microsoft Office, email, VPN access, and system navigation
  • Set up and configure computers, monitors, peripherals, and user accounts
  • Escalate advanced technical issues to higher-level IT staff when needed
  • Document issues, resolutions, and support activity accurately in the ticketing system
  • Deliver friendly, professional customer service with patience and urgency
  • Help maintain technology inventory and equipment organization
  • Support both onsite and remote employees as needed
