Requirements

0–3 years of relevant IT experience
An Associate’s degree or completion of relevant coursework at a technical school
Basic knowledge of operating systems, networks, programming languages, firewalls, and routers
Familiarity with common technical issues involving Microsoft Office and other software
Strong communication and listening skills, particularly when assisting users by phone or email
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when documenting issues and requests
A willingness to learn and develop new technical skills

Responsibilities

Respond to initial telephone and email requests and troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and network issues
Identify problems and provide effective solutions for a variety of hardware and software concerns
Assist with testing, installation, and setup of computer systems and software
Track and document IT issues, trends, and recurring problems
Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve more complex technical issues
Provide onsite technical support and assist with installations as needed
