About The Position

Maintains, repairs, troubleshoots and documents airframe and engine to ensure airworthiness and conformance with FAA regulations. Requirements

  • Associate Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • Transport - 6 years of experience
  • Airframe and Powerplant License - FAA

Responsibilities

  • Performs all inspections, repairs and component changes ensuring all are accomplished in accordance with manufacturers' maintenance manuals, and/or FAA approved procedures.
  • Maintains all necessary work records, maintenance forms and log books.
  • Responsible to maintain the AC aviation fuel farm. Accepts fuel per AC policy from fuel vendor and ensures fuel quality.
  • Assists in cleaning aircraft and hangar.
  • Informs Angel One Communications Center and supervisor in the event of unscheduled maintenance.
  • Plans and coordinates maintenance activities with the Director of Maintenance.
  • Works with manufacturer’s representatives, parts vendors, repair facilities and the FAA.
  • Places safety as the top priority for aviation operations.
  • Assists Director of Maintenance in ordering and maintaining aircraft parts inventory and vendor tooling.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
